Influencé par des artistes comme Michael Turner, Il travaille dans un style assez proche du naturalisme anglo-saxon. Un grand nombre de ses peintures ont été éditées sous formes de reproductions et de cartes postales Captivated by Aviation as little boy, he went to the Fine Art School of Bordeaux (1990-1992) and started as free lance illustrator for advertising. Many years, He worked for the Heller company (model kits). His style is quite close to the English naturalism and influenced by artists like Michael Turner. many of his paintings has been edited in limited edition prints and postcards. |

C'est peut-être pour cela qu'il parvient à donner une telle profondeur à ces paysages. Il a notamment réalisé une remarquable série sur les avions Fokker. Les peintures de Serges Stone sont exposées au musée de Soesterberg au Pays-Bas. Serge

Il n'a commencé à peindre qu'à 53 ans après avoir fait carrière dans l'armée de l'air. Lam ne pilote pas, mais il sait ce que voler veut dire : ses ciels sont réalisés à la perfection et son style fait tout de suite penser aux maîtres anglais qui l'ont inspiré. (Michael Turner tout particulièrement). Lam van't Hof is a self-taught painter, who started at age 53 after a career in the Air Force. He doesn't pilot but he knows what flying is all about! His skyscapes are perfect and his style reminiscent of Michael Turner's and Robert Taylor's. |
