Nous
sommes à Kitty Hawk, dans la Caroline du nord, aux Etats
Unis. Dans ce lieu reculé, l'homme réalise le premier
vol contrôlé avec un aeroplane à moteur. Cette
première tentative se solde par un vol de 36,50 mètres,
puis au 4ème essai, les 250 mètres seront dépassés
!

We
are at Kitty Hawk, situated in north Carolina, In this isolated
area, The Wright brother, flew for the first time in humanity's
history in an engine aeroplane. Their first attempt was modest with
40 meters. The same day, at their fourth attempt, they exceeded
100 meters !

He made also very nice motorcycles like this one, folowing at full
trottle a Blériot airplane during a meeting before 1910.
You can watch this motorcycle each year at the french meeting of
Ferté Alais (in June). |
