The Deutsch Bonnet team is almost forgotten today, but DB marked his time with race cars equiped with a modest 750 cc engine. Their cars won many times le Mans in their specific category. At the end of the fifties, René Bonnet created the "Djet" that became later the "Matra Djet", starting a new chapter in the history of the French motorsport. In this painting you can spot one of the pilot, Paul Armagnac who built the French track of Nogaro that still wear his name.
