"Leaving London" - Douglas DC6 - Giclee print

He was not as beautifull as the Lockheed Constellation but the Douglas DC6 was just the best propliner of the fifties. However, by the end of the decade, Boeing created the 707, opening the ERA of the jets and provoking the decline of the big propliners. This Air France DC6 flies over London and the Thames with the Mythic Tower bridge. This painting was made on commission for the Heller model kit company to illustrate a box that will edited in october 2023.
